Brittany Lopez Burton

I am a full-time mum of 5, part-time artist and educator. I could not imagine one role without the other, and each aspect of my identity feeds a desire to learn more, create more, observe more, and to be more present with the people and places around me. The theme of "time" shows up a lot in my art, especially in the context of motherhood, as I have experienced different seasons as a mother and feel that time slips away quickly as my children grow. I lead a network of home educating families in Ealing and am an active volunteer in my local community. I especially love gathering people together around the arts.
