Karin Perrin

My artwork evokes memories of travel and walks, memories and experiences, often based loosely on photographs I have taken. I am inspired by the landscape, the mood and the light, the mysterious places that might lie around the corner, the surprising discovery I might make in a few more steps.  My paintings are mostly in oil and take many days and even weeks to complete, as I add layers and marks, accentuating or disguising features of the landscape, hoping to bring out the atmosphere and even the exhilaration of the moment. I also offer art quality Giclee prints in various sizes.
