Peter Whitaker

Peter studied a foundation course in Art and design and went on to graduate with a degree in applied and media Arts. At the loft you’ll see a mixture of his watercolour landscapes and contemporary portraiture. Peter has enjoyed a career as a successful TV cameraman who rediscovered his love for painting during lockdown. This lead him to having a portrait published in the book ‘portrait for NHS heroes’ after taking part in the wonderful initiative founded by Tom Croft.

Peter is fascinated in connecting with people through art and is interested in using broader brushstrokes and playing with colour to help develop his style.
