Here in Brentford, we have the Thames; as its tides keep coming in and going out, the waterside keeps changing, becoming muddy or silvery several times a day. At night, these well-lit banks drastically change their colours and shapes.

These night photos are my homage to the river, the canal and the way it keeps changing twice a day and through the year.

I've been doing night photography for well over a decade; I like how it gives a different view on places we consider ordinary.

Thank you!
