St Lawrence’s Church
There’s been a chapel on St Lawrence’s site since the 12th century. St Lawrence’s church was built over four centuries. The West Tower is the oldest feature, constructed from stone in the 15th century it’s the oldest standing building in Brentford. The body of the Church was rebuilt in 1764 from brick. Closed in 1961, St Lawrence’s has been restored by the Brentford Project. Access is limited to 50 people at any one time.
